Privacy Policy
Stvdio wants you as a user to feel confident that we respect your privacy and process all personal data in accordance with the law.
Personal Data
To use the online booking service, you must provide your name, address, phone number, and email. To register an order, it is also necessary to store information about the rental time and what type of equipment has been reserved/ordered. There is an age limit of 18 years for using the service, so you must also provide your year of birth. When using the service, your order history will be stored. This personal data is used to deliver the service to you. This personal data is retained as long as you are registered as a user with us. The personal data we have recorded is accessible and can be changed on your page, which you will find in the online booking service after logging in. You can also contact us and request that we delete your personal data or unregister you from our systems. You will no longer be able to use the service unless you register again.
Personal Data to Third Parties
Stvdio will not sell, trade, or share your personal data. The online booking is handled in a system provided by Stvdio AS.
Payment Information
When you place an order, your card information is stored with the payment provider DIBS to fulfill your order. DIBS stores the information securely and responsibly and is PCI-certified. This allows us to handle order changes, cancellation of reservations such as deposits, refunds, additional costs incurred by the user (for late returns, damage, or similar), as well as reduce misuse and loss. Transaction information related to your order will be stored, but not the card details. Transaction information will be retained as long as you are registered as a user of the service, in accordance with the section on personal data.
Use of Collected Information
The personal data collected for these purposes includes both information you provide (name, email address, etc.) and information collected through your use of the service, such as what equipment you rent and information about your location and technical information about your device and internet connection. The personal data may be supplemented with available information from third-party actors.
Cookies
When you visit our service, we use various technologies to recognize you as a user and collect data. For example, we use cookies to remember rental dates and equipment. Cookies simplify the use of the service and provide you with relevant information when you visit our website. They are also used to cache data such as available rental dates, prices, and similar.
Through server logs and other tools, we can register information about the device and the connection to our service, including operating system, browser version, IP address, cookies, and unique identification files. This information is used in anonymous and aggregated statistics but can also be linked to your user account. The information allows us to customize the display of our service to the device you are using.
